ORGANISE

Engage your community and share the voice of the Baltic Sea.

ANYONE CAN JOIN

Everyone is welcome to organise and lead activities and events on Baltic Sea Day: companies, groups of friends, schools, cities, hobby groups, anyone interested.

There are lots of ways to join in, big and small, from spreading the word on social media to hosting an event.

Organising events as part of the Baltic Sea Day is free of charge. Taking part requires nothing more than committing to the shared values of Baltic Sea Day that emphasize community, respect, and sustainability.

HOW TO TAKE PART?

Baltic Sea Day invites communities and organisations to get involved in ways that suit them best, from sharing on social media to organising a larger event. Participation in Baltic Sea Day is free.

Amplify the sea’s voice

Bring the Baltic Sea to your social media channels: share information, images or tips and encourage your followers or personnel to share theirs. #BalticSeaDay @BalticSeaDay

Arrange a session in your community

Set up a moment dedicated to the sea within your organisation. Go pick up litter, arrange a Baltic Sea guiz or discuss what you can do in your everyday lives to help the sea.

Organise an open event

Awaken interest in the Baltic Sea by organising an event that is open and free to the general public. An event can be anything Baltic Sea related that suits your core activities.

A PAID EVENT

Organise an event, such as a concert, theatre performance, or film screening. You can use it to raise funds for your own Baltic Sea initiative or donate to a Baltic Sea organisation.
