Baltic Sea Day (Dzień Bałtyku)
Baltic Sea Day Program – August 28, 2025, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
We all live by the Baltic Sea.
Whether you live right on the beach or far inland – your everyday choices impact the ocean. Yes, yours too! What we buy, how we live, and how we care for the environment makes a big difference. Choosing eco-friendly products, reducing plastic use, giving items a second life, or sorting waste – all help protect seas and oceans.
During our event, we’ll invite you to explore the health of the ocean. We’ll talk about what threatens it – and what threats the ocean poses to us. There’ll also be something for your taste buds – literally! You’ll get to try different types of seawater and find out how the Dead Sea differs from the Baltic. And since we’re talking water – we’ll also take a closer look at what a water footprint is and how we can reduce it in our daily lives.
All this in the spirit of sustainability – interactive, engaging, full of conversation, hands-on experiences, and the relaxing sound of waves in the background.
Attractions in the Old Town Hall Garden:
