Register an event or action
Events and activities for the 2025 Baltic Sea Day should be registered now on the website. The registered events and actions will be moderated and then published either in the Baltic Sea Day events calendar or on the Baltic Sea Actions page.
Please register your events and actions on the website well in advance, as we will start marketing Baltic Sea Day at the beginning of the summer. The more inspiring events and activities we have on the website, the more we can boost the Baltic Sea Day and your partners’ programme

Baltic Sea Day, initiated and coordinated by the John Nurminen Foundation, is celebrated annually on the last Thursday of August with a variety of events and activities. The aim of the day is to highlight important maritime issues and inspire people to take concrete action for the Baltic Sea. In addition to the celebrations, the aim is to raise awareness of the sea’s nature, culture and history. In 2025, Baltic Sea Day will be celebrated on 28 August. www.itämeripäivä.fi #itämeripäivä #östersjödagen #balticseaday
