Expect a laid-back beach atmosphere and playful competitions. Dress in your favorite swim look and come together with your family or friends!

Program:
- 17:00–17:30 Playful beach flag race and water toy relay for the whole family on the beach.
- 17:30–17:50 Floating school by the Finnish Swimming Teaching and Lifesaving Federation.
- 18:00 Group plunge into the sea (or a bucket dip if swimming in the sea is not possible due to blue-green algae).
- 18:30 Event ends.
The event is part of the Baltic Sea Day’s Pulahdus activity, where people take a dip across the Baltic Sea region at 6 p.m. The idea behind the dip is to enjoy the recreational opportunities our waters provide while also raising awareness of their ecological state. Our goal is healthy waters where you can safely swim all summer long. Discover the everyday actions you can take to support the wellbeing of our waters.
The event is organized by the Swimming Association, the John Nurminen Foundation, and the Finnish Swimming Teaching and Lifesaving Federation. Come ask us questions about the state of the Baltic Sea, various swimming hobbies, and how to avoid dangerous situations on the water.
