We are already well into spring and the Baltic Sea Day preparations are coming along
Baltic Sea Day Partner newsletter 1/2022
Dear Baltic Sea Day partner!
We are already well into spring and the Baltic Sea Day preparations are coming along both in Finland and abroad with the help of our wide network of partners. Baltic Sea Day activities are being coordinated by Helene Isander from Race for the Baltic in Sweden and by Finnish institute and Finnish embassy in Estonia. In Finland Tove Holm is responsible for activities on Turku area. At John Nurminen Foundation, the day is being coordinated by our communications trainee Kiira Suoranta. You can contact us via email at info(a)jnfoundation.fi.
The Baltic Sea Day is open to all, and we welcome everyone to join. Last year our sea was celebrated with over 200 actions and events and 220 partners. The day was celebrated both in Finland and around five other countries around the Baltic Sea. This would not have been possible without our partners, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined in last year as well as all our new partners participating for the first time. Let’s make this the best Baltic Sea Day of all time!
What’s next?
Since last August we have organized workshops to both Finnish and international partners. If you’d like to return to the kick off-session in January, you can watch the recording from this link or see the presentations here. The next workshop is planned to take place in May, we will inform our partners about the exact date a bit later in the Baltic Sea Day newsletter.
If you haven’t yet registered your company or organization as a Baltic Sea Day partner and your company’s name and logo aren’t yet visible on the Baltic Sea Day website, you can do it here. If your plans are already far along, you can register your activity or event on the Baltic Sea Day website. For ideas and inspiration, check the list we have put together on our website. Like in the years before, it’s also possible to participate in readily made Baltic Sea Day campaigns: the Baltic Sea moment, Baltic Sea menu and the Plunge.
This tear we have created a closed Facebook-group for our partners. The group can be used for asking questions and for finding partners for organizing a Baltic Sea Day event. In urgent matters we kindly ask you to contact us via e-mail at info(a)jnfoundation.fi.
Baltic Sea Day website and newsletter will still remain our main communications channels to our partners. Previously published newsletters can be found on the Baltic Sea Day website.
The Baltic Sea Day website and its information is available in five languages:

We wish you all a lovely springtime as we await the sun and the sound of softly rolling waves,
